This multi-year deal connects Fenics Market Data’s physical and forward commodity trading data directly to GX’s price calculation technology, significantly expanding the amount of trade data used in the GX algorithms. This further enhances the quality and robustness of GX’s global suite of crude and refined products and LPG benchmarks and represents a significant leap in its offering.
This deal is uniquely valuable due to BGC's strong position in energy and commodities in a high number of key AsiaMarkets. The benefit to users is further enhanced given Fenics is the exclusive distributor of all global data for the BGC Group. The initiative cements a strategic relationship between GX and Fenics Market Data, that will bring even more value to GX’s global customer set.
