With offices in London, Krakow, Houston and Singapore, GX continues to build our team and we are now looking for a Pricing Director to develop your expertise around commodity trading and price assessments and support the team to enable prices and benchmark creation in line with the company methodology.
About the role:

You will:
- Lead daily assessment of assigned commodity market(s), including examining the integrity of the underlying data used for assessment and ensuring correct methodology is applied to produce published indexes
- Stay informed of market developments that could impact pricing or require updating/amending underlying methodology for pricing assigned market(s)
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with traders/brokers and other relevant market participants
- Actively source additional data to underpin current and future GX indexes
- Partner with the Sales team to “socialise” GX data in the market and encourage its adoption/utilization
- Work closely with colleagues across teams to identify opportunities for new indexes or enhancements to existing ones.
- Contribute ideas that help shape the future of GX’s product offering.
About you:
- A BA/BS is required, with preference towards numerate subjects such as Engineering, Finance, or Economics
- At least of six years of experience in the commodities markets as a fundamental or pricing analyst, trader/broker, or related is required
- You’re an ideal candidate if you have experience in the Americas natural gas and/or power markets as a pricing analyst or trader
- Experience gaining FERC approval of natural gas and/or power price indexes is preferred
- Comfortable sourcing and building relationships with data providers
- Solution driven, naturally curious, possess a high level of numerical ability, and are proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Accuracy and attention to detail are exceptional
- Clear communicator with confidence and ability to present and articulate a topic clearly
- An interest in commodities, with a strong desire to learn more about the mechanics of pricing
- Committed to consistently demonstrate professionalism with colleagues, customers, data providers, and the public to positively represent GX.
