With offices in London, Krakow, Houston, and Singapore, GX continues to expand rapidly and is now hiring a Head of People to support our next phase of growth.
About the role:
We are looking for a dynamic and pragmatic Head of People to help build and scale our people function. This is a key hire in our London HQ and a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for building out the HR infrastructure, processes, and culture that will support GX as we scale globally.
You work closely with leadership across all functions. This is an ideal role for someone who has operated in a fast-paced startup environment and is now ready to take ownership of the People agenda at a Series A company.
You will:
- Lead day-to-day HR operations across the full employee lifecycle – onboarding, employee relations, performance, L&D, and offboarding
- Drive initiatives that support a high-performance, inclusive, and values-driven culture
- Own and optimise our internal people processes, policies and documents
- Implement and manage our HRIS (we use Bob – previous experience with Bob or a similar tool is essential)
- Co-ordinate training globally, especially our graduate development programme
- Partner with hiring managers to support effective recruitment, onboarding, and retention
- Be the go-to person for employees on all people-related matters, especially day to day processes and questions
- Support leadership with workforce planning, compensation, and performance processes
- Ensure legal and compliance requirements are met across our international offices (Houston, Singapore, Krakow, and London)
You offer:
- Experience working in People/HR roles at high-growth startups (ideally VC-backed), reporting into a VP or Head of People
- Strong operational capability and confidence in building and improving HR processes from scratch
- Hands-on experience with Bob (preferred) or other modern HR systems (e.g., HiBob, BambooHR, Personio)
- Understanding of UK employment law; international experience (e.g., Poland, US, Singapore) a plus
- A people-first, detail-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced, evolving environment
