43 new voluntary carbon spot prices launched

Today we're thrilled to announce the launch of 43 new voluntary carbon spot prices, taking our entire offering to 69 spot prices (with an overall total of 186 including spread and rolling average assessments).

What's included?

This includes 12 new BeZero related spot assessments to further help clarify the relationship between risk and price, as well as 3 Core Carbon Principles (CCP) - back to 2020 vintage.

The new additions also provide further granularity as geography based baskets are added for some of the most liquid markets. The latest developments also bring improved visibility of the brokered market through our unique methodology and network of data contributors.

"We're excited to bring even broader coverage to our customers, now assessing the majority of the liquid spot market - as well as expanding to cover areas of the market which are only just beginning to develop."

Arran Brodie, Senior Energy Analyst at General Index
