General Index energy benchmark prices now available on the Wind Financial Terminal

General Index (GX) announced a partnership with Wind, a leading Chinese financial information services provider, to make GX energy benchmark prices available on the Wind Financial Terminal. The integration covers seven major categories: crude oil (Middle East and US), jet fuel (Northwest Europe and Asia), naphtha, fuel oil, US natural gas, gasoil, and propane and butane, totaling 20 core spot prices.

The partnership brings regulated energy prices to Wind's institutional users across 35 countries and regions, helping traders and analysts access key benchmark prices faster through the Wind terminal to support more informed decisions in risk management, trade execution, and price benchmarking.

Reza Amanat, VP for Asia at General Index, said: "We are pleased to partner with Wind to bring high-quality international energy benchmark prices to China's trading and financial community. As the global economy and physical energy prices become increasingly interconnected, Chinese investors will be able to track 20 key physical energy indexes assessed by GX through the Wind platform. Both companies hope this will extend the reach of energy and financial data to a wider global audience."
