With offices in London, Krakow, Houston and Singapore, GX continues to build our team and we are now hiring an Operations Executive to join our fast-growing global team in Houston, TX. This role blends operations management, finance support, HR administration, and office coordination to keep our Americas business running smoothly while helping standardize processes worldwide.
About the role:
In this role, you’ll be the backbone of our Houston office - keeping our HR & People Operations running smoothly, ensuring our finances stay on track, and managing the day-to-day needs that keep our team thriving. Reporting to the Managing Director, Americas and VP Finance, you will be responsbile for:
- HR & People Operations: Manage HRIS (Bob), onboarding/offboarding, employee records, benefits administration (medical, dental, 401k), compliance documentation, and visa paperwork.
- Finance & Accounting: Support AP/AR, reconciliations, month-end close, payroll processing, sales & use tax filings, and budget tracking using Xero.
- Office & Facilities: Oversee Houston office operations, procurement, lease/vendor management, and IT asset coordination.
- Executive Support: Manage calendars, travel, expenses, contracts, and special projects for the MD - Americas.
- Culture & Events: Plan team events, socials, and industry participation.
You offer:
- Experience in operations management, finance administration, HR coordination, or office management.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with HRIS (Bob preferred), Xero, and payroll systems a plus.
