About the role:
We're seeking an experienced Product Manager to join the team and drive the development of innovative commodity price indexes, intelligence products, and market solutions. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, this role sits at the intersection of client needs, market expertise, and technical delivery, requiring someone who can translate complex requirements into actionable product roadmaps and manage execution.
Based at our London headquarters, you will collaborate with international teams to deliver world-class products to our global client base.
Product Development & Strategy
- Lead the enhancement of the GX Go platform, providing market insight and client requirements to inform the development roadmap.
- Design human-in-the-loop AI workflows combining algorithmic processing with expert judgement.
- Collaborate with the CPO and market experts to define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps for commodity indexes and intelligence products.
- Prioritise features based on client value, market opportunity, and strategic alignment.
Cross-Functional Delivery
- Work closely with technology and data engineering teams to ensure successful project implementation.
- Manage product backlogs in JIRA, maintaining clear documentation and priorities.
- Coordinate between multiple stakeholders including market experts, developers, data scientists, and commercial teams.
- Track project progress, identify blockers, and drive resolution to keep initiatives on schedule.
Product Lifecycle Management
- Oversee products from conception through launch and ongoing optimisation.
- Define success metrics and KPIs, monitoring performance and gathering user feedback.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements where applicable.
GTM Collaboration
- Partner closely with the commercial team to understand client requirements and market demands.
- Translate client feedback into clear product requirements and maintain dialogue with key clients.
- Partner with SMEs and marketing to support product launches.
You offer:
Essential
- 4+ years as a Product Manager in B2B data services with proven stakeholder management across commercial and technical teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working with development, data engineering, and data science teams, including defining requirements for AI/MLfeaturesand designing human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of commodity markets and financial instruments.
- AI-enabled mindset -leveraging AI tools to maximise output and continuously exploring ways to enhance product management and customer experience.
Preferred
- Background in commodities.
- Proficiency with JIRA for agile project management and backlog prioritisation.
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, APIs, and data infrastructure concepts.
- Understanding of market data workflows and data quality requirements.
