About the role:
We're looking for an experienced Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. As an SDR, you'll be the first point of contact for potential customers, playing a critical role in driving General Index’s growth by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities.

What you'll be doing:
- Prospecting into target accounts via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other outbound channels.
- Qualifying inbound marketing leads and convert them into sales opportunities.
- Researching prospects and identify key decision-makers.
- Scheduling discovery meetings and product demos for Account Executives.
- Maintaining accurate activity and pipeline data in CRM.
- Following up consistently with prospects through multi-touch sequences.
- Collaborating with marketing on campaigns and messaging feedback.
- Meeting or exceed monthly quotas for meetings set and opportunities created.
- Staying up to date on product offerings, industry trends, and competitors.
- Developing a firm understanding of our data and markets – articulate how our data products solve problems and create opportunities for our customers.
- Using AI tooling to enable and finesse our GTM processes.
About you:
- Around 12 months’ experience in a similar Sales Development role.
- Have an interest in Commodities markets and how these operate.
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Are coachable and eager to learn.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
- Find working in office with your team exciting.
