About the role:
We are looking for a motivated QA Engineer to join our growing development team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience building quality assurance processes that power critical energy and commodities data for our global clients. You'll work directly with our developers and Head of Technology and be part of our rapid growth story as a Series A fintech company.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or similar to validate feature functionality
- Execute daily test runs, analyze results, and report defects using bug-tracking systems such as Jira
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and troubleshoot issues, ensuring timely resolution
- Participate in planning and review meetings to align testing efforts with development goals
- Continuously improve test automation frameworks to enhance coverage and efficiency
- Learn and grow your testing skills in a real-world development environment
You offer:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, for effective communication in a global team
- Proven experience (1+ years) in automated testing with tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward identifying and resolving quality issues
